How PVC became an unlikely wardrobe staple

I think we ca call a spade a spade and admit that of all the fabrics out there, PVC has the worst rap. Tacky. Cheap. Favoured by ladies of the night. And yet, this tactile fabric has made it’s way into my wardrobe in troves. It’s become the most unlikely wardrobe hero – pairing magically with all of my usual suspects – trench coats, slouchy tees, chunky knitwear et al to the point where I’m reaching for it on repeat.
